Our experience with InfraCost helped us embed cost estimation into everyday infrastructure delivery, so engineering teams could see spend impact early, review it alongside code changes, and avoid surprise cloud bills. We implemented InfraCost in real IaC and CI/CD workflows to improve forecasting, enforce lightweight governance, and make cost trade-offs explicit before resources were created.
Some of the things we did include:
